Senior Software Engineer

Mr. Billing is a generalist software engineer with 7 years of experience building scalable web services and websites used by millions of monthly active users, award winning mobile applications for banking in Canada (iOS and Android), and identified/solved business problems by analyzing data and interviewing customers.

In 2010, Irwin co-founded Cardboard Box Games, a technology startup in the San Francisco Bay Area, were he worked as the Lead Software Engineer architecting and writing scalable real-time skill based matchmaking and battle service. CBox Games was later valued at $2.5 million.  

Following CBox Games, Irwin spent 2 years working as a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft in Vancouver, BC before moving to Redmond, Washington for 3 years to work as a Software Development Engineer at 343 Industries; a technology company that builds the computer game Halo.
